Why “My Graceful Life?”

Why “My Graceful Life?”featured

I’d like to share with you for a moment why my blog is called “My Graceful Life.”  I think the best place to start is why it’s not. {wink}

This blog is not called “My Graceful Life” because it’s about my perfect, everything-is-put-together-just- right life.  My life is messy.  I have three kids–my life is chaos!  It’s not about how I organize my home perfectly, look like a model mom, or do everything right.  If you want an instruction manual on how to be the perfect mom, this is not it.  It’s not about how I am the perfect homeschooler.  I’m totally learning as I go, and I’m still such a newbie.  It’s not about how to have the perfect wardrobe.  It’s not about how to fit into a certain mold so you’ll feel good about the job you’re doing as a mom.

No, my life is not perfect.  I am not perfect.

But yet, I know that in His eyes, I AM perfect.  And so are you.

And that is what this blog is all about.  It about a life full of grace.  Grace that fixes the mess-ups, covers the downfalls, and leads us forward into our destinies as mothers and unique individuals with a special purpose.Why My Graceful Life

No, our lives may not always look graceful to the untrained eye, but if they could see inside they would see lives full of grace.

This blog is about my life as a mom and a woman finding my way in the world.  By His powerful grace, I am making it.  And by the same grace I trust that (even when it doesn’t look like it) I am not just surviving, I am thriving!

Aren’t we all the same?  Don’t we all need His grace every day as much as the air we breathe?  It’s about your life, too.  And I hope that as you say “my graceful life” that you begin to claim it as your own.  That if you never have before, you will begin to see your life as graceful.  As a beautiful, graceful dance with the One Who is leading you every step of the way.

My hope is that I can encourage you in your mom-journey.  I pray that as I write, you will find something that will lift you up and stir your heart to hope.

Blessings to you, graceful friend!  I hope you have a glorious day.
