The Power of An Encouraging Community

The Power of An Encouraging Communityfeatured

Hi, mama!

We were never meant to walk this road alone.

God created us in His image, right? God, the One who is Three.  The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who live and breathe life into all of us as ONE.  Three unique individuals Who move and act as One — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We were made to function best when we’re working together!

What kinds of communities are you a part of? Do you have an encouraging group of moms that you glean support from? Maybe you are a part of a small group from your church.  Perhaps you joined a homeschool support group in hopes of getting the encouragement you need for your journey.  Are you a part of a thriving group of online friends who seem to know just what you need to hear when you need advice?  Maybe you have a close-knit group of friends who are always there for each other. Take a minute to think about what communities you are plugged into.

Encouraging communities can be a great place to gain the confidence and strength you need to thrive in your day to day life.  We lift each other up, point out each other’s strengths, and pick each other up when we fall.

On the flip side, we’ve all seen how devastating it can be when could-be thriving groups are in a way “poisoned” by complaining, grumbling, and gossip.  What has the potential to be a great asset to the lives of the people involved becomes a disappointment and a burden.

In the 40 minute recording below, recorded live at Deeper Life Ministries, I share some insight into what makes a community thrive the way that God intended. A community of encouragers can be so powerful!  And you hold a key that can affect the atmosphere of the communities you are a part of. You can be a powerful encourager.
