Rising Like the Sun (FMF post and a song!)

Rising Like the Sun (FMF post and a song!)featured

As the sun rises each day, so we rise to meet the challenges that the day may bring.  We rise to the occasion–ready to take on the day.  With each rising of the sun, new opportunities present themselves.

this may be the day This may be the day that everything changes.  This may be the day that our hopes will be realized.  The possibilities are endless.  This is the day that the Lord has made.  And the Lord really has made the day.  In the story of creation we read that He separated the light and the darkness, calling the light “day.”  So He literally created the “day.”

I am reading first book in the Chronicles of Narnia series with my children right now.  We just read the part where Aslan literally sings Narnia into existence.  A brand new and young sun rises for the first time as Aslan’s song goes forth.

What song will you sing today?  God has sent you into the earth as a song–to be sung on this day. What will you sound like? What life will you create with your song? What joy will you release? What newness will come forth?

C’mon sister–Let your song rise!

“God has made a home in the heavens for the sun. It bursts forth like a radiant bridegroom after his wedding. It rejoices like a great athlete eager to run the race. The sun rises at one end of the heavens and follows its course to the other end. Nothing can hide from its heat.” Psalm 19:4b-6 NLT
