It’s Five Minute Friday time, and this week’s word prompt is the word CELEBRATE.  Join us for more Five Minute Friday fun over at Kate’s place.  My post this week is a prayer!

My God, I celebrate today because of what you’ve done in me. I celebrate because of where You’ve brought me from. You are so good, and I’ll never be the same because of Your love for me!

celebrate quoteSome might not understand it—the way I can smile with heart held high even when there are troubles all around. I smile because You are victorious.  I have joy because You are inside me, and my joy comes from within.  I celebrate because of the work You finished on the cross. You accomplished Your purpose, and it was good!  You won the battle for my soul, and now I get to walk with You and know You more each day.

Oh, the sweetness of Your presence! Oh, the joy of looking into Your deep, lovely eyes. Oh the peace that floods my soul when I stop and look… at You.  You are the One and Only. The One Who holds my life in Your hands.

When the mountains shake and tremble, when what I’ve built falls flat to the ground, and when all I hold dear seems to lack finality, I will trust in You.  I will hold Your hand.  I will let You hold me.

For it is in You that I have security. It is in You I have my victory. It is in You that I can always celebrate. For You, oh Lord, are my One true Hero. You are the One I hold to, trust in, and love. You are everything.

new song of the week

Today’s song is Celebrate, by Rend Collective. (Fitting, huh?) I hope you enjoy celebrating His love! Just let Him love on You right now, graceful friend.
