But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer. – Luke 5:16 NLT

Holy Spirit, I thank you that you are with me right now.  You are my Comforter and my Teacher and my Friend.  Help me learn how to carve out {a little} more time be alone with Jesus.  I don’t expect a miracle where I get up at crazy hours of the morning to spend hours in Bible study, I just want to learn how to pull away a little more often.  Help me find those pockets of time when it is doable.

If Jesus needed to get alone, then I know I do, too.  Some times it’s hard to find that time right now, but I do want more of it.  So I’m asking for GRACE to make it happen.  Jesus found time even though He had so many people who needed Him all the time (kind of like a mama surrounded by littles on all sides)!

Let me prioritize alone time with You over other things that might seem really important at the moment.  Five minutes, ten minutes, fifteen minutes at a time, bring my prayer time back to life in a new way.

I’m SO thankful that in this season of motherhood I’ve learned an important lesson: That you are always with me, and that I can enjoy communion with you at all times, even in the midst of the beautiful chaos that is my life!  I will forever cherish and hold onto that truth that has CHANGED MY LIFE!

Now, having truly grasped that reality, help me learn how to grasp the moments that I can realistically pull away for a few moments to just breathe… You… In.  I love you.

Love,

Tasha
