Day 17: Breathfeatured

Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath! – Psalm 116:2 NLT

My God, You always listen to my cries.  You always hear my heart, my deepest longings, fears, and dreams — even before I mention them.  And although you know all, You desire to hear me speak to You.  You long for the bearing of my heart and soul to come from my willingness to be known, and You always make Yourself known in return.

I draw near to You, and You draw near to me.  I open to You, and You open to me.  It’s the way You desired it to be from the beginning of time: walking in communion together with no separation between us.

You sent Your Son to bring reconciliation to our fallen world, so that there would be no more separation.  You wanted it so badly!  You made provision through the cross before the world was founded, and Jesus blood brought us near — made us one with You!

You promised Your Holy Spirit would come, and come He did.  With fire and love and the revealing of the Son, the Holy Spirit came to dwell in us.  There is no separation.  You have bent down, and not only that, you have come down to be among us!  I will breathe You in always.  I will pray as long as I have breath!

I will enjoy sweet communion with You forever!  Come my God, and know me — fully and completely — and show me the treasures that are hidden in Your heart.

Love, Tasha
